They both have great teams. Both are coming off really difficult losses. Michigan's dline will be a monster for USC to face. If the game was played this Saturday I would favor Michigan but since it won't be played for a few weeks I give the edge to USC and Carroll. The coach staff will come up with a game plan to handle the dline of Michigan. USC also has a fine Defense which should limit Michigan's scoring. USC wide receivers will probably be the difference assuming that the coaches find the right scheme to give them time. Also remember USC is a very young team and a month means more practice and more improvement.
USC 27 Michigan 24

Michigan will win. Michigan has something to prove so it means more to them. The only way USC will win if it is Pete Carroll's last game with the Trojans.

Since USC stumbled unexpectedly a couple of times and Michigan only lost a close game to No. 1, one would have to guess Michigan.

USC will win because they have faced a tougher test throughout the season. Michigan is in an overrated conference and Booty will pick apart their lowly defense.
