Because...not only because you can't have it...but because you are not with that person everyday...so in your mind you create a fantasy person that is perfect in every way, and he/she doesn't argue back with you, leave the toilet seat up, have any opinions about how bad/good you look (or anyone else for that matter.) So of course since this person is not with you, it is easier to hang on to and create stronger feelings for them. This happens with the one you can't have (ie the celebrity) AND can also happen with the one that you lost. After you break up, most people remember only the great times, but fail to remember that not only are they incompatible, but they were both so annoyed with each other it just couldnt work. i became in an identical relationship with my ex.... We met in severe college, after we were 15. Fell in love and idea it may very last always... nicely as we were given older, we both needed quite some issues.. We fought on a daily basis, . besides we broke up after 4 and a 0.5 years. That became 3 years in the past. Im in a sparkling relationship now and that i nonetheless imagine about my ex. yet in my coronary heart i do not ignore that the way issues were interior the starting up isn't an identical. we've damage one yet another too a lot. Once you have convinced yourself that "If I only had ---- I'd be happy." ---- could be money, a job or a relationship. So you will become relentless in your persuit and will feel moments of eurphoria when it seems you are getting close to having what you think will bring you happiness. But it's just an illusion and reality always comes crashing you down, like if they don't answer your call. We always want what we can't have Facing the reality that love doesn't hurt frees you to leave that situation and go and experience the love you deserve.

because sometimes you don't get to have what you want the most..due to a variety of life circumstances...it is one of the things that separates us from animals..this ability to feel so strongly....that sense of right and wrong..and the hope that in our next lifetime, we'll get the chance that we miss in this one..and that hurts...
