i am sorry for you poor soul. but dont worry i will tell u the whole story.
the finals was italy vs france.
france were leading 1-0 in the starting.zidane(fra) scored a magnificent goal in a penalty during the match, which the so-called "world's best goalkeeper" could not save. the whole of italy team got pissed by then but not materazzi.
in the later half of the match he went straight to zidane (during the match) started begging him...zidane tried to get away frm him and concentrate on the match.....but materazzi was hanging on behind him , pullin his t-shirt.
zidane felt pity on him and the italy team and their poor fans.
so, he told matrzi that he's gonna act as if he will head-butt him so that the greatest of the greatest player gets sent off and italy could win.
materazzi agreed to it
all went according to plan and thus zidane gave the world cup to italy.
