People in the US even watch foreign movies. Every country watches other's films, TV shows, etc. But they are more open to watching foreign films in other countries then we do here.
Titanic, Star Wars, Star Trek, etc all have worldwide following. It just really depends on the film.

yes we get the same hollywood movies as you, some dont get released in the theater as the star may not be known in europe but we'd get them on vhs or now on dvd.
years ago we would always get hollywood movies a few months after america, sometimes 6 months or more after the north american release but the internet and the cost of reproducing the reels multiple times of the year has curtailed that and now it either released within a few days or weeks or sometimes even the same day as in america.

they probably have their own movies too... just like japan they make their own movies too then america makes the american version of it. lol like the ring and the grudge
