< I lost the bottom part of the screen which shows the points for each play and the communication line. So I had to go back to the old resolution.

My question was: How to I maximize the board on my screen? I can hardly see it. I meant: the table. Sorry!

P.S. I am new at this and still very confused!!!

what happened was the change in resolution made everything larger, including your desktop. All you need to do is find the buttons on your monitor (usually set up in a diamond pattern) and play with them until you understand how to adjust the screen width (rectangle with arrows pointing left and right) and screen height (rectangle with arrows pointing up and down). The buttons are always on the front....but might be inside a small panel.

Adjust the screen height and width to less than the whole screen (i usually open up Internet Explorer/Mozilla/Netscape so i can see exactly how large my screen is). Now use the buttons directly next to screen heigh and screen width to adjust their positions...and make sure they are lined up with the center of the screen. Now it is just a matter of making the screen larger and making sure it is still alligned with the overall dimension of your monitor.
*adjust the height and width until it completely fits on the screen*

such a large resolution may not work aswell depending on how new your monitor ...but this is how to fix the problem you wanted fixed.

Good Luck!

Not sure what board you are talking about. If your screen resolution makes items too small to view you can increase the DPI. To do this right click on your desktop ( a box will pop up) click on the settings tab, click on advanced, click on general tab. In there you will see your DPI settings. On the scroll bar you will see normal showing probably, click on arrow and choose another setting and try it.

continually use as severe a decision as you may comfortably study. Going to a decrease decision received't in common words make each and every thing look more beneficial on your own computer, yet many purposes and maximum web pages now anticipate that you've a minimum of 1024x768 decision. for that reason, i'd *in common words* do 800x600 if i ought to no longer study common textual content at 1024x768.

well whatever you are using is probably not made for such a low resolution

800x600 is nearly outdated. even pc games have dropped using that resolution.
