Depending on how old you were when you first had your period, your body may still be trying to regulate your cycle. Also, have you lost a large amount of weight recently? Loss of weight or undue stress can also cause your periods to stop or become irregular. You should tell your mother and see a doctor to be sure.

It's normal for someone your age to be irregular.

As an example, I had my first period on my 13th birthday. I did not have my second until a year later.

It will take a few years to regulate. The best you can do is relax and keep an eye on it (to prevent surprises) and to always have protection with you.

It can be perfectly normal for your periods to be very irregular, especially when you first start having them. If you aren't having any other medical problems and you aren't suffering from anemia, anorexia or anything else, this is likely something that time will fix.
Are you an athlete? Runners especially are prone to irregular periods.

Its all natural:
When you are young, your hormones are way off because of your growth. Its okay to be irregular! My mother was irregular until she had her first child and the doctors assured her that it was okay. You have nothing to worry about. :) Just natural.

sometimes when you are young, your hormones go crazy. stress with friends, boyfriends, school, parents, and whatever can cause you to not have your period. i wouldn't worry. however, if you do not have it in another month, i would make an appointment to see your doctor.

when i was your age mine were like that too. my doctor put me on the birth control pill to regulate them. your body is probably not producing very much estrogen because you're still developing. it can take several years for your cycle to regulate itself naturally. if you're healthy overall, i would say ENJOY having them so far apart while you can!

Is your menstration always regular? If yes, i think you might have been to stress lately.Stress can lead to delayed menstration. Hormones changes can also lead to irregular menstration. To elimate other health conditions, please ask your mother to bring you to see a doc to have a check.
