I didn't ask for insults included with the answers. It's simply a poll.
We're not talking about choices I've made, are we? I'm sure you have made bad choices too.

It depends on the country. I lived in Europe and kids are more educated, they come out of high school with a trade. They can choose to go to college or do their learned trade. We here are the wild wild west. The kids in the states are underestimated, some teachers are afraid to give the children a well rounded education because they might be fired or sued. I was a teacher after a military career and saw a sluggish outdated system. This low payed career is giving to the system a low rate education in
part the product of this are barely educated children with high expectations and no skills. I could carry on but what the heck. By the way I know how to fix the problem.

Well, China and Japan are really ahead of America. I say that about at least 45 percent of the children who are from different countries are more educated than American children since they complete the University and all that stuff.

Yes, I do. I think the state of education in this country is a joke.
Have you ever seen the Tonight Show? Once Jay Leno went up to a group of just graduated college students and asked them questions you'd think a college grad should know, like who the current President is. Do you know what their answer was- CLINTON(keep in mind this was asked maybe six months ago).

I would say they got better education but they are not willing to take it as much as other nations which is a sad thing. I'm a good example for this one the way how I became a loser is because I enjoying my freedom while others kids around the world are searching for higher education.

our public schools are a pathetic joke. Teachers are evil and the whole system is about control not education. So yes, only the truly driven by nature get out and achieve in the real sense, the rest ride gravy trains.

my daughter is two and she can recognize most of the alpahbet including q and z and x. she can count to twenty two and knows how to spell cow. id say shes pretty educated theres a special school that kids can go to called montessori academies and they teach higher education. so your kids can be well educated and if you cant afford it theres financial aid aviable. it from ages 2 through 8th grade but then they are done.

Your a teen mother, seems like you know how to make excellent choices.

OK to answer your question, the education of the USA's children is behind that of some other developed nations, however it is far better than the majority of the world.

Additionally, thanks for telling me your pregnancies were a bad decision, as for me? No I don't make bad decisions.

But I think if you send your two kids to American schools they will be fine.
