Testosterone and society are the reasons for men being more violent than women. Men are taught top release things through violence more often that women are. Think about the violent sports like football and boxing they used to pretty much be the man's domain.

Men actually use anger more because they're embarresed to be emotional. Anger lets the emotions out. It doesnt necessarily mean violence but they're probaly a lot of violent women that get away with violence because men dont report them. I feel that if a women is man enough to hit a man shes man enough to get hit. This doesnt necesarily mean that im gonna beat my wife or g/f it means that if a women can hit a man then a man can hit a women. Girls get away with a lot of stuff and its not right. Jus like sex crimes if a man school teacher slept with a girl student he would get the death sentence, but as u seen with the women they jus get a year or 2 or sometimes jus probation. So men arent more violent i actually think women have a lot of attitude and usually fight more than men. Men get along well together, women will always talk behind ur back. Men jus seem more violent because they can dish out more pain than a women.

I actually just watched a show on Discovery about this! Back in the caveman era, men were the "dominant" sex and they did most of the work. They fought for mating rights with females, for the most part, and they fought for territory sometimes. Sadly, even though they don't need it, this gene has lasted up until now. Women didn't have this gene because in the caveman era, they didn't do anything but breed and eat what food the men took back after hunting. The easy life!

testosterone is most of it. Whether it's that hormone alone, or something else, we are more likely to express our frustration with fists.
Personally, I believe we are made to desire territory, status, etc. Someone I know says "man was made to establish dominion" whether it's over others, over our environment, over ourselves, whatever. Men are just driven to be the best at something, even if it's Madden Football. So we have the drive to be dominant coupled with a hormone known to be associated with violence.
That's a generalization, of course, so there are oodles and oodles of exceptions, but the fact that men are more violent than women is universal to all cultures, I believe.

If you mean physically, the reason is testosterone. You can walk up to an adult cow and pet it. Ever tried that with a bull?
But psychologically and verbally, women are very violent...

It is an evolutionary trait that men have being the (historical) providers for a family/group. Men were the "hunters" and naturally became more aggressive. Unfortunately, this trait sometimes has its downsides in today's society.

Testosterone.
When women commit such violent crimes their bodies have an imbalance of testosterone. To make myself clear, both genders carry testosterone and estrogen. men have more testosterone, obviously, while women tend to have more estrogen.

Men aren't more violent it just comes out in a different way than women. Men let it right out and women supress it and hold it against others.

Women have a softer nature, but they've gone downhill as of late and are also becoming violent.
