We moving to new house and want to buy new appliance just want to know if anyone had LG or Kenmore let us know

I have a few LG products around the house, and i like them..
They have lasted for years so far...
They feel strong and i would buy another LG product if i needed too.

One thing that alot of people don't know is that the Whirlpool Corp. makes the appliances for Whirlpool, Roper, Kitchen aid, Estate Kenmore,Crosley,Amana, and now Maytag which also includes Magic Chef... LG has copied alot of Whirlpool design factors, and are in a legal action with Whirlpool... LG products are known to work well, but the quality of the products are not that great... I have been in the appliance business for over 20 yrs now... One thing I have come to find out is that all those high priced appliances that have all the fancy gizmo's on them are the ones that cause the most problems, and those gizmo's tend to cost alot when they are needed to be replaced...Myself I would recommend the Kenmore, but nothing fancy... Just get the basics that you need...

Hmm....my parents have Kenmore, love them......my daughter, who moved into her first house a little more than a year ago, has LG washer, dryer and refrigerator....I have used both, and prefer Kenmore....LG has some bad reviews, and my daughter is thinking about replacing her washer already...seems that if you don't wash in hot water with bleach, which she doesn't, you have clean the machine or it builds up mildew...

depending on what type of appliance...lg is not known to make good long lasting "wet" appliances ((ie: washer/dryer)) but microwave and TV's are good. Stay away from fridges as well. Whirlpool washer/dryer are great. Maytag stoves are fantastic. Bosch dishwashers are very good and very quiet. Do not worry about having your appliances match, it does not matter.

If it were up to me, I would go with the Kenmore. LG is " Lucky Gold Star". I feel that their items are fairly cheap...

Kitchenaide is the top of the line,but kenmore is nice too
