What kind of memory stick for a computer or digital camera or are you talking about a flash drive? More information please.

What type of memory stick. Even on most memory stick you have to insert into the computer. Some old computers dont provide slots for the memory sticks so you will have to get USB. However once you insert that you go to my documents and you have to check if its removable disk J or one of those types of things. You click on the one that is yours and that is it. Also you can put them in camera, and gaming consoles to save games on them. Hope it helps!

Well memory stick's are Sony's product so they will work on sony's devices. Like digital camera, cellphone, PDA etc. You can use a card reader to read those memory stick through PC. or you can pur your memory stick in your device and connect through USB port to a PC.
If you are talking about memory card, then memory cards are of diffrent types. Most common are SD memory card. The procedure is same for all memory card (like Sony's memory stick). You can read the memory card through Card reader or directly from device USB port.

By either putting it into media card reader that's in your computer, or connecting the device using the memory stick into the computer.

if it is a usb memory stick, you just plug it into a usb port on your computer.
