If you look at the architecture and operating system objectively, Mac has the superior system. If you look at the market and real-world variables, PC's are the better system because of the following reasons:
1) Majority of computer users have Windows-based PC's.
2) More games and applications support for PC.
3) PCs have more hardware support.
4) Some peripherals only support PCs, such as upgrading firwmare or transferring files.
5) Have you ever seen a PDA or pocket pc run Mac OS?
6) PC clones help bring down the price of PC's. Mac has no clones, so Apple always keeps their computer prices high.
7) As long as iPods work with PCs, does it really matter?
8) If it wasn't for PC users, iPods would not be as popular. Majority of iPod owners are PC users.
9) Majority of businesses or workplaces only support PCs, so it is difficult to have a Mac.

windows xp pc systems are better because of they're ease of use and it takes about 70 percent of the computing market because of all the software made for it. Macs are shitty overpriced linux machines that are asthetically better looking . If you get a pc get a emachines or a dell those are two of the best brands that have a good value package with a nice amount of programs that you will use everyday. Also wat u said about the graphics pc tend to be easier to install new parts if anything goes wrong but with mac you have to go to the store and tell them to repair it.

Depends on what you're talking about.
For general work, gaming, e-mails, it's the PC. Lots of softwares from 3rd parties for the PC, especially games. Barely any software from 3rd parties for the Mac. Most of the softwares are from Apple.
For safety against attacks, such as viri, it's the Mac.

in case you pay interest to what you're doing you will no longer get viruses on a computing device the two! the main important turn away to Mac is the cost. they are quite reliable, sturdy and ordinary to apply-or so I hear :-) My ex-spouse had one and enjoyed it yet a alternative exhibit screen for it replaced into $six hundred on the time for a fifteen" CRT. (1998) In 15 years of computing on a computing device I relatively have had precisely 2 viruses one in all which replaced into yet another AV utility detected as a pandemic by my different AV utility. be careful on social networking websites and use Firefox as a replace of IE. do no longer randomly acquire information. Use a competent antivirus utility (no longer Norton) AND a competent anti-undercover agent ware software. they do no longer seem to be the comparable element BTW J

Macs are high quality machines, but they don't have the universal acceptance that PC's enjoy. Walk into any store, and you'll see tons of software titles for your pc. See how many items for the Mac that you see. PC's tend to be much cheaper as well.
