I do & don't. If a child is brought up from day 1 to hate blacks, gays, Jews, Muslims etc. & then becomes just like his parents when he gets older, who do you think is responsible parents or the kids? I think that both are. When you get to a certain age I think you can & should start to question your parents hateful beliefs. My stepson was telling us about a girl in school who just casually called a black girl the n word like it was an every day word. She was suspended but I think something should have happened to her parents, after all where did she learn it from? Am I alone or do you agree?

I agree with you 100%. Hatred does start at home and because children are inexperienced in life will start to act like their parents. But when that child gets to be an adult, you as an adult will be responsible for your own actions. We can't continue to put the blame on our parents. God put in each human the gift of conscience (knowing right & wrong). As humans we know that hate is wrong & should strife to be better than our parents were not making excuses.

i think that parents are to blame 100% they do have an influence on what and how there children think... just think you go to school when you young 7 to 8 hours a day 5 days a week for about 10 months that about 350 hours a year in order to educate you for the real world....and if the parents that you love and trust and see every day, day in and day out, for the rest of their lives, teach you how to hate someonefor whatever stupid reason its going to catch on. parents that are racists make will always influence their children.... just like when a parent drinks in front of their children day in and day out will have a greater chance of raising a child to become an alcholic and anyone else

Yes and No,my parents are not racist but sometimes, they still think that I should mix with people my own race. But I don't get really influenced by them because I don't judge people by colors,I look at people with my own eyes and I don't hear others judgement about other people.Parents can be a influence, but at the end of the day,you are still you.

Children are a reflection of their parents or a product of their environment if you will it is a generational curse , so their parents were racist ,their parents parents were racist and so forth and so on, yes I do believe that the parents are responsible as well as the child

Yes! They should share the responsibility..... the parents are evil, but once the person is an adult then they should be able to look at the world more logically.

I feel that parents are responsible for their childrens actions. You feed your children info that stays w/ them for the rest of their life. Children look to their parents for approval from day one and when you show them the wrong way that is what they will know.
