Wifi is usually only available in select spots such as Starbucks cafes etc, you will need to pay them to use it though.

If you need it for your home you will need a wireless ADSL router/modem. Namesco do short term 1 month contracts and will supply you with a wired ADSL router/modem for free, if you really want wireless, they will supply you with wireless one for £29.99.

Namesco are a very reputable company and are getting plenty of awards at the moment for their 1st rate customer service, i've been using them for a while now. Heres the link to their home page:

The above company will send you out a wireless router which works off mobile fone waves it 's a broadband connection so it's pretty fast - The best thing about it for you is that there is a free 1 month trial period for new customer's as your only going to need this router for 1 month your not going to have to pay for it.

Or if you don't want to do that all Starbucks have wifi so you can go there

You can ask your provider. I use Earthlink and I get free dial-up access with my DSL contract. I guess you will be in a hotel or at a friends, if so look for hotels that have access or use your friends connection.
