If you want to further put yourself into a hole and don't care, then ditching class is your answer. If you want to show you're responsible and willing to do work, then I wouldn't.

You have time now to do the work, don't you?

You're problems will only get worse as you avoid more and more......

If you can make up the quiz, then maybe. But make sure you get some help with the math before the make up quiz and get your homework done!

You should also consider talking to your math teacher, and explaining the situation, and that your absences are why you aren't prepared for the quiz. Tell him/her that you plan to get some tutoring or other help, and perhaps they will give you an extension.

Next time, remember that this is what happens when you miss school, even when the absences are excused you can fall behind very quickly!

It's important to go to school everyday!

I would if I were you. Think of a good answer for your absence though. While you're not in class, you should get help and finish your work+study for your quiz.

You are your friends. As a sophomore in high school I played sports on the varsity team which means I had Seniors for friends. I ditched with them when they had time off that day. Never got into trouble.

I think you shouldn't ditch class because if you do your chances of passing the test is not likely because you wont be in class. So just go to school and try on the quiz, you might be surprised.

Might as well ditch now and get it out of your system while you're in high school instead of skipping classes in college.

No, how about instead, you get off the computer, do your math homework, and study for your quiz.

Your teacher can't expect you to automatically understand any work that she/he hasn't taught you! But if you skip class you're just going to get harder behind...seriously, stay in school and keep up as much as you can. It's easier that way.

Simple sit down do the work - no TV/Computer/Music - no distractions and WORK. As you do the work you will be studing at the same time.
