For easy listening, I'm a big Jazz / Blues fan.
Any one of the following artists will do you right if you've never checked them out.

John coltrane, Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Buddy Guy, Miles Davis, Muddy Waters, BB King.

If you are not a Blues Jazz fan, pick up a copy of Moby 18. It's got some great chill tunes on there. Also cool albums include Massive Attack and Radiohead.

The Best Blues Album ... Ever! (2 CD w/ great blues songs)
Try Classical. Especially Violins. Schubert: The Last Four Quartets ( The Least Distracting For Me)
Moby: Hotel is also nice (sounds like turning on the TV, do not have to care what does it say)

You don't need other people to tell you what albums to listen to. The best thing to do to find out different music it to explore music randomly. This is the best way to get a really diverse sense of music and the best way to do that is getting a gift card from napster. just go to this link http://doiop.com/0z2obk, and you can get a trial offer for 500 free downloads at Itunes, napster or even yahoo music. The best part its all legal

Get actual Graffiti with the aid of Led Zeppelin, Quadrophenia with the aid of the Who, Parallel lines with the aid of Blondie, Ask with the aid of the Smiths (or the Sounds of Smiths). And for Bowie, get Ziggy Stardust, it relatively is extraordinary as you already know! MQ: coronary heart. MQ2: Aerosmith, i don't sense the doorways too a lot and that i won't manage to stand Jim Morrisons voice!
