we open on christmas day with my children..when i was young we would open christmas eve.

Both, actually. We open gifts from out-of-town family on Christmas Eve and the majority on Christmas day. At least we did when our daughter was younger. Not sure what we will do this, but probably the same as we have a German exchange students whose tradition, I believe, is to open presents on Christmas Eve.

I am 24 and don't get christmas presents anymore but when i was younger and living with my parents i got to open up one christmas eve night and the rest on christmas morning.

my kids open one present on christmas eve which is usually new pajamas and the rest from santa on and mommy on christmas day morning then we go to my granny's house that evening for more presents and dinner with the entire family. We usually pay a board game also. I have relatives that live in different states so we all dont get to be together very often. This year we will be playing Trivial pursuit the 80's edition. Hopefully we will get more questions right than last years genious edition addition.

We go to the in-laws on Christmas Eve for dinner & presents, then have Christmas morning/day here at our house with the kids More presents), then Christmas night go to my parents for dessert and yes even more presents!.

Christmas Eve. We celebrate On Christmas Eve dinner and opening of gifts it is so our family can spend the whole day together. then on Christmas day everyone is free to go what they like like visiting cousins and aunts.

well we have a family part Christmas Eve and then we open those gifts then on Christmas Day we open from "santa" then on Christmas we have the other side of the family come over and then we open those gifts! now you know my whole life story! THE END

We open one gift(christmas eve jammies) on Christmas Eve after going to a big Christmas/ Yankee swap Party, then we get up in the morning AFTER Santa comes, do our presents.
Then we go over to my husbands parents house for more presents and brunch, then to my parents house for MORE presents and dinner!!
