My son has been going to bed at 9:00 PM since he was about 10 months old. In the beginning he had 2 naps...now he is just down to one nap after lunchtime. He also wakes in the morning around 7:45 am. If you are concerned your child isn't sleeping enough or is sleeping too much, speak to your pediatrician to find out what you can do. Good luck to you!

I say 8:00 that is what I think although my 11 month old goes to sleep at 8:30. I think that when they get into a good pattern that works well and they get up fine go for that...try 7:30 then 8:00 then 8:30 and see which one works the best.

Good Luck

My son is 2 and if he doesnt have a nap during the day he will fall asleep at 7:30-8:00, if he does have a nap then I'd say no later than 9:00-9:30.

My boyfriend has a 19 month old, she usually goes to bed between 8 and 8:30 and that is with usually an hour nap during the day. But around 7 or so we get her blanket and have her lay with one of us to calm her down and relax her.

My son is two and his bedtime used to be between 8-830, but it is usually 9-930 now because I work graveyards and my son will sleep a little bit later in the morning. He does take a 2-3 hour nap though.

It doesn't make any difference but they need 12-14 hours of total sleep per day. My daughter goes to bed at 10, wakes up at 9, and takes a 1-2 hour nap. It's a little unconventional that she goes to bed so late, but she's well-rested and happy. If we try to change her schedule it doesn't work. So do whatever schedule works for you and your child.
