I went to the dr about 5 days ago for a yeast infection well after i started the medicine for it my skin got really dry and chaped down there and even started peeling alittle now i have like a crack in my skin that starts to bleed a little every time i wipe from going to the bathroom, is it just from the infection or did the medicine cause this? i had suppositories and cream and i think it might have been the cream,

Sounds like you are allergic to the cream.
Next time get a different type of cream or stick to the suppositories. Sometimes the yeast infection can do that too if it is real bad. Put some Neosporin on the crack so it doesnt' get infected.

I think the medication was to strong for your skin. But you must get rid of the infection. Try to see if your doctor has a cream for sensitive skin.

Your could be allergic. Also depending on how long you went before you got treated could be the cause. Ask the doc if there is anything else you could use. Good Luck

i think that it is probably from the infection because i can recall the same thing happening to me. i would wait until your medicine runs out and then maybe talk to your dr. unless it gets unbearable

call your doctor to ask and confirm what the creams side effects are- or read on the prescription case/ papers it came with. They might try and give you something else.
