No....48 Million kids that are not homeless, unwanted, abused, etc. Also, this is a personal issue that really the government should stay out of completely. There should be no laws in either direction dictating what someone can and can not do to their own body. Also, for those who think birth control is foolproof you are stupid! Even the pill is only 99.3% effective. That means .7% of the time it fails (may not sound like much BUT when you consider how many women use the pill..it is a lot!)

No- It comes down to the same old answer everytime. Survival of the fittest. Yes we are human and have opposable thumbs, but we are still part of the animal kingdom. We might be at the top of the food chain, but that doesn't make us any better than the animals we kill for food or pleasure. Over population is a serious threat to our existence on earth. And who is going to pay and take care of all those children if they were here? How many don't have homes at this time because they are older or non-white? How about if we take that 48 million and times that by 3 for just an approximation of children they would have had in that time frame and the numbers are staggering.

I agree with "yo momma." Who's going to take care of all these unwanted babies? especially the crack babies?!
The abortions do bother me, but knowing there are unwanted and abused children in this world bothers me much more.
People need to get educated and use birth control.
Also, as far as Roe v. Wade -- What's your point? There are going to be abortions whether abortion is legal or not. The only difference is that women will be much safer if it is legal.

Yeah but that's God's department cos I have enough problems dealing with my own sins, let alone someone else's. But what bothers me more is however many million public school kids being taught abstinence rather than safe sex and the "morally pure" amongst us who
1- want these kids to be born but then attack people who need welfare
2 - do nothing to help the neglected kids in a rundown foster system (social workers try sooooo hard but there's not enough of them)

it is a big deal that 2000+ American soldiers have died in Iraq in a war over the last 4 or 5 years, and that is a tragedy
300-400,000 people have been subject to genocide in Darfur again a tragedy
3000+ people died in the World Trade Center attacks and that is a tragedy
However, the killing of that many innocent babies is an American right and way of life..... and that is not a tragedy.... what hypocrites are telling these lies
POINT TO BONNIE (and others with her belief):
Why not legalize every crime that would have endangered the poor innocent perpetrator..... that's all Roe vs Wade did for abortion

Did you count everyone since 1970 or has almost 1/4 of the US population been aborted since 1970? For some reason I don't think you could have counted everyone and your 2nd "fact" is virtually impossible.

No. Roe v. Wade might be overturned before the year 2028. The next big asteroid is expected to have an impact on Earth in 2028. Overturning the verdict after the impact would be odd.

No.
But it does bother me a great deal that over 75,000,000 human beings have died in all of Africa from war, famine, or disease since Roe v. Wade.
The number of Africans who will die in 2006 will be over 3 million.
Does that bother you?

Poor babies! With all the types of birth control there is no excuse for an accidental pregnancy plus there are many people who can't have children who would be glad to adopt them. I was always pro choice until I had my daughter now I am pro life.

Simply put yes, for those mothers who had to do it to save their own life I feel for them. But to throw away something as precious as a human life for no relavent reasons is... Sad. I pray that the would be parents(not just the mothers) can find some sort of peace after an abortion. Jesus is our Salvation.
