ok i got a new ipod but my computer is to old to download itunes! what do i do

Too old to download itunes? There is a program called Anapod but Red Chair Software, it isn't any better than Itunes but it might work for you. Also try www.ilounge.com. There are several programs out there that are able to transfer music to the ipod aside from Itunes and that website has links to many of them.

Are you sure it's too old? What are the specs?
I had terrible problems downloading iTunes but my computer isn't old at all.
Try this:
Go to Start --> Control Panel --> Add or Remove Programs -->
At this point, you should have a window with all of your currently installed programs. Find anything that says iTunes or Quicktime, highlight it, and hit "Remove"
Once you have removed those programs, restart your computer.
Finally, go to the iTunes web site and attempt to download iTunes again.
I hope this works for you. Otherwise, if your iPod is new, there isn't really anything else you can do. There are some programs out on the net made by amature programers that, supposedly, are alternatives to iTunes, but I would be extremely careful about using these.

You would most likely either have to download a newer version of windows or whatever program you use, buy another computer, or use a different computer. Good luck

Either get a new computer or sync it to a friend"s computer. I have a friend with the same problem. I offered to synch it to mine, but he has not yet. Without a computer you won't be able to download any music.
