men don't reslly think like we do. they are natural hunters so the are always on the prowl. yet what you should know is that once a man starts to get to know you he will decide if you will be a friend or a girlfriend. Some times it takes a while for them to realize that your beter suited for friends. mostly because the bases of a relationship is a great friendship. So it's hard to tell if you are a friend or a friend that would make a great girlfriend!

I'm a straight guy and personally most of my good friends throughout my life have been women. I just feel more comfortable and seem to have more in common with my female friends.
I like being able to hang out and just have a conversation with a woman without sex getting in the way.
I wish more people around me would understand that.
So not all guys are looking for a romantic or sexual relationship, some are just looking for friendship.

Us guys can only be friends to a girl that we are not attracted to. If you are an attractive person many guys want to be with you. Many freindships turn into realtionships and then hopefully marrige. On the other hand, after the realtionship they loose a freind for life because of the realtionship. But if you want to be freinds with guys, close freinds then that is ok to. You Know what hurt a guys feelings when he wants to be with you and you say " no, i just want to be freinds"

Of course not. When i see a girl interesting, i'd make the move for a relationship but if she 's just a girl i met then we'd be just good friends.
Not all guys hunger girls, you know. There are some (not gay) who would rather be single because they think having girls don't make any sense. They think girls only annoy their life....i knew one guy but he's definitely not gay.....
So, when a guy approaches you, try to think what he's motives are.

I KNOW! For real. It's like guys don't understand the words, "I just want to be friends" and when I say that I mean it. I cherish their friendship but I don't see a romantic relationship in the future, but it's like guys will not hear of it and no matter how many times you tell them this, they still see a glimmer of hope. They think no means yes I guess! *sigh* silly boys! :)

I don't think guys are looking for relationships, but the main thing they want out of females (especially when young) is sex. There is attraction, but there aren't similar interests (like sports and video games). This makes women seen mainly as potential relationships and not as friends.
Or maybe you're so hot all guys want relationships with you. ;-)
