Anything by Kira (www.kira-online.de). She has the loveliest voice on the planet as far as I'm concerned. Of all of her material, my favorite song so far is "Wir sind mehr"--it's the most beautiful song I've ever heard, and I swoon every time I hear it. And I'm speaking as a professional musician myself. The song is beautifully crafted, and the lyrics basically say, "Without a spark of love I wouldn't be here--I would have left a long time ago. We are more--let's become more, let's become big."

Though the lyrics apply to a boyfriend/girlfriend situation, they can also apply in another way. Prior to the invention of the phonograph, the only way you could hear music, aside from if you had someone in the family studying an instrument, was either by going to concerts or by hiring a private ensemble. Either way, you'd hardly expect the ensemble to play for just *one* person in the audience--it wouldn't be cost-effective for the band or the client or the venue or whatever. Then came the phonograph and its subsequent refinements, and suddenly people were able to listen to those ensembles privately. Over the decades, and especially with the advent of the Walkman and now the iPod, the "relationship" between artist and fan has become more "intimate" than it was, say, 150 years ago, to the point where it's possible for a listener to be under the "illusion" that the artist is singing for that listener alone. With this in mind, the more the artist records and releases material and promotes himself, the greater a fan base he generates and the more records he sells. It's a cycle that keeps repeating, and the relationship between an artist and his fans keeps growing and growing. In that sense, the artist and his fans, as a collective "they", are more--*they* become more.

For a few rationale I by no means appreciated the track Remember the Time. BQ: After listening to Earth Song for the primary time it rather caught in my head considering the fact that of the factor he was once looking to make so I wager thats my favourite track.
