5^(2x+1) =10
lg 5^(2x+1) =lg10
(2x+1) lg5 = lg 10
2x+1= lg10/lg5
2x= (1/lg5)- 1 since lg10=1
x=[(1/lg5)-1] / 2

5^(2x+1) =10
(2x+1) ln 5=ln 10
2x+1=ln 10 / ln 5
2x=ln 10/ ln 5-1
x=(ln 10/ ln 5 -1)/2=0.2153

5^(2x + 1) = 10
(2x + 1)ln(5) = ln(10)
2xln(5) + ln(5) = ln(10)
2xln(5) = ln(10) - ln(5)
2x = (ln(10) - ln(5))/(ln(5))
x = (ln(10) - ln(5))/(2ln(5))
x = (ln(10/5))/(2ln(5))
x = (ln(2))/(2ln(5))

ANS : x = (ln(2))/(2ln(5)) or (ln(2))/(ln(25))

they both mean the same thing.
