What are you suggesting? That Dick and Lynne Cheney failed as parents because their daughter happens to be gay? Or that there's no such thing as gay people with values? Mary Cheney has been with her partner for 18 years and is pregnant with their second child, so she's apparently embraced the "wholesome family values" to which you refer. Sounds to me like her parents did a fine job raising her. And even if you don't know it, there are homosexuals in every family, none of whom are evidence of parental failure.

Since the GOP platform denies gays are born that way, it must be a result of up-bringing. Maybe Dick abused her when young. Maybe she saw a loveless marriage in her own parents. Maybe Dick treats his wife a little old-fashioned, ie the back of his hand to maintain order in the house. She wasn't born that way...

Because she chooses to be a homosexual. She was born female. All homosexuals have a choice. They make a perverted lifestyle their choice instead of a normal lifestyle. Could be that they just want to be rebellious and go against the rules of society.
