I totally agree - it is just like when you get married and the first thing people ask is when are you having children? I mean give it a rest and mind your own business. The best thing to say is when we decide we will be sure to send out a news broadcast letting everyone know we are trying and not to interrupt us! LOL

I hear that from married women alot. A friend of mine, who wasn't planning on having kids until after she finished grad school and got a good job, was being pressured, pressured, pressured to have kids while still in school, simply because she was married!
Hell, my fiance's mom is already planning the number of children (apparently all girls) I'm going to have...
I think it's rude too! What you do is up to you!

No problem, people are rude and most of the time don't even know they are, if when asked you can always say you can not for medical reasons. Or flat out say one is enough.

They are either truely a friend and curious. In which case answer politely. Or they are nosy busy bodies in which case tell them as soon as George Bush the third is president.

Maybe they are just anxious for you to be a new parent all over again, but I say if they're so rude they can't get the hint after the first couple of times I would just tell them point blank:hey! it's MY buisness DROP IT!!

NOW all you have to do is tell THEM that!!! It is NONE of their damn business to begin with and I think what you should do is ask them "WHY" when they ask you that. I have no idea why they do it. Trying to make conversation. Nothing better to say. I really cannot tell you because I don't know what they are thinking(thank goodness) because I can't slow my brain down THAT far.
