I would like to try it, but I am the chicken sh!t here...Is it true what they say about the "other" side? and the hauntings... if you have experienced it,,,please tell me about it.

Ouija boards are as safe as the people playing with them. The actual Ouija Board is marketed primarily as a game, not a psychic tool.
The only dangers in playing with them are that you can believe so strongly in the "results" you can freak out a bit.
Folks with heightened sensitivity do use Ouija boards from time to time in an effort to concentrate their own perception, but when friends sit down to play or experiment, they need to keep in mind that it's easy to manipulate what's seen and spelled out, and not to pretend too much.

No they are not safe.
You play with a ouija, and you are opening a door, inviting spirits to meddle in your life, in a negative way.
I am a Christian, but you do not have to be religious, or even believe in God to know that I am telling the truth. Please don't find out the hard way.
Please don't fool with a ouija. You should not even have one in your home.

They do not actually contact spirits, they are just cardboard and plastic thingies like other game boards and 'magic' 8 balls. But go ahead and try it, it's just a fun game.

They only become a problem when you slip on it after leaving it on the carpet and it is dark....
Seriously, if you think its a bad thing, then don't use it.
It is used for ENTERTAINMENT. Anything more, is really just lost people looking for answers instead of creating solutions to their own problems.
