I can't get my PC come on it will say XP run a min then when it says welcome it will go back to XP again it want go desk top do i need to recovery well with disk thank you

Can you explain the error message a little better?
Is the computer new or used? Did you install XP, or did it come with XP?
What kind of computer is it and where did you buy it?

Personally, in my opinion.... since this computer is new to you and I would assume that you do not have anything saved to this computer that you need to backup such as personal files and etc. I would reinstall XP and ensure that whatever problem you have now will not continue or come back to haunt you.
