None of theses answers are realistic, I retired on my 55th birthday, $150.000.00 in bank and stock options, no mortgage,pension from my company $5000. month. I'm happy with that..my assests 400k.

My goal is to retire at 52. With about 3 million in assets, plus retirement which I hope will still be around. Oh and then there's social security. Why the word security is on the end of it....who knows. Ideal........now would be nice while I'm still young enough to enjoy it.....but, you know.

I retired a month in need of my fiftieth birthday, in 2007. Retirement is wasted on the elderly. I spend days with my fiancee, driving my motorcycles, volunteering as a bike instructor, and play lead guitar in a 6-member rock band (we do a lot of reward). I even have normally stable wellbeing, and existence is stable!
