Krump (thats how its spelled) is like a free for all dance. Its actually pretty easy. There's no "special" moves.....alot of jerking and fancy leg work, lots of shoulder moving, arm swinging. Its like a stylzed hip-hop way of moshing as it was described as fight dancing but not to glorify fighting, but so that young kids in ghettos would krump instead of actually fighting.

The dances arent too hard. Obviously you're not gonna be a pro at it and those that are pro's are also very good at break dancing and they incorporate break dancing moves into krumping.

Krumping cant be done to all kinds of hip-hop. Certain crunk songs I guess....hip-hop beats are usually at a slower pace and krumping is a little faster moving. Certain crunk music can but crunk music like say....Lil' Jon and his song Roll Call (or the rarely heard remix called Roll Call Crunk Rock Remix---great song lol) are good songs to krump to, however the crunk songs that are based on snap dancing (which is basically every crunk song out there right now) doesnt fit.

Krumping to NYC beats are a little hard......Its a southern/western thing mostly however. Like, you know how Snoop (or Dre) songs are great to C-Walk to and its almost like his beats are made just to do so? Well, other songs dont fit with C-Walkin, although some do (I found that BAALLIIINNNN.....that stupid Jim Jones song.....is actually kinda good 2 do it 2 lol).

To get an idea of Krumping I recommend these 3 things:

Rent the movie RIZE from 2005 which is about the dance
Download the song Break It On Down by Flii Stylz which is like the krump theme song
watch videos on YouTube to see what its like

It's actually spelled krumping. Check out the movie Rize. It's really great, and it's a documentary about a krumper in la. According to the movie, Krumping evolved from a performance style known as clowning- which was actually done in clown face. The idea is that it's a battle dance done with some kind of antics and creativity.
