Franklin D. Roosevelt and the United Nation's "Universal Declaration of Human Rights".

Drafted by Canadian John Peters Humphrey and called by Eleanor Roosevelt "The Magna Carta of All Mankind".

The Declaration is also much younger than the old US constitution.

It was passed by the General assembly of the U.N. December 10, 1948. Anniversary is Sunday.
