it's true. You don't remember most of the days you spent in school, but you remember your first day of high school, you remember graduation. You remember the jokes and pranks you and your friends played on each other. You remember your first kiss. You remember your first heart break. You remember the first time you get behind the wheel. You don't remember individual days but rather the important events that filled them.

In the autumn of ones years, one can best reflect back on the moments that stand out in our lives, such as when we first rode a two-wheeler all by ourself, when we lost our first tooth, our first kiss, our first car accident, the moment that we said, "I do", the birth of our children, and so on. The years may have passed by all too fast! Now the children are grown with children of their own, the aches and pains of arthritis have set in, and ones memory is not as sharp as it used to be, especially for recent events. But one can still recall those precious "moments", if not the individual days.

When you have fun times with friends, you don't remember the date but you have a lasting memory of the event and it will stick to you because you remeber it the most and because you care about the person.
