Treo - more and better 3rd party programs are available, better memory management and doesn't crash as much.

I had the blackberry pearl, but switched to the blackberry 8700. Here are my pros and cons with the pearl. I had T-mobile as the service provider.
Pro:
- size, nice size for a phone, easy to use
- camera, decent camera (for a phone) with flash
- voice activated dialing was a convenient feature
- easy to navigate with the scrollball, very intuitive
- the screen is gorgeous, bright and clear
Cons:
- battery life. with my moderate usage, needed to be charged daily.
- Suretype keyboard (2 letters to a key). Maybe if you don't send a lot of email, but if you do, it's frustrating. And the keys are small so if you have medium/large fingers, accuracy suffers.
- the combination of the scrollball and lack of an official holster makes it so that the phone doesn't ring sometimes. When you have an incoming call, if you move the scrollball, it silences the ringing. The trouble is that if you have it in your pocket (or purse), the scrollball rolls very freely when it brushes up against something , it silences the call before you can hear it.
The cons are why I no longer have the blackberry pearl and had the blackberry 8700 instead. I'm a big fan of the blackberries, but not the pearl. Good luck.

Ditto with Treo but I'm not sure the specs of Samsung Blackjack, Pearl uses microSD that is nearly impossible to find.
MotoQ seems not a good machine on paper. With Windows Mobile you should consider a stylus (Phone Ed.) or stylus-less (Smartphone) model, by the standard of this, all Blackberries are smartphones and all Treo Palm/WinCE are phone editions.

Blackberry Curve. I have sprint so I only had the option of owning a Pearl. I think you will like the interface of the Curve, plus a full keyboard that seems to be a little nicer than the BJ 2 and the Curve has more to offer. You will be able to txt with an easier interface, navigate through your programs and accessing the web is a breeze. PLUS!! There is a program on the BB that is called Blackberry Messenger and that allows you to chat ONLY WITH OTHER BLACKBERRY OWNERS. So you can chat exclusively with all the kids at school. Bottom line, BLACKBERRY CURVE.

If those are the only two choices... then Windows (more flexible than BB), but my Nokia E62 uses the Symbian OS. I did a lot of research before I purchased and I'm happy with my choice. The choice will really depend on your needs and what you'll settle for (and of course price, unless that's no object).
I put a few links below, but there are a ton more.

neither, palm (e.g treo) is better.
there are more softwares available to improve a palm,
when a pda crashes, a windows and blackberry takes ages to reset, a palm takes a few minutes.

Palm is better than either of them.
Tighter software gives better battery life and quicker access.
Palm 650
