It could be a small, minor infection. That's what the pus is from -- your body trying to purge whatever is in there irritating it. You said it doesn't hurt so that's a good sign. It might get a bit red though. Keep cleaning it with alcohol like you've been doing. And remember to wash your hands afterwards each time as well. it's probably not a big deal, just a small infection. I've had them a million times and they usually just go away in a couple of days.

It will do that a lot if it was just pierced, try keeping earrings in it, make sure they are designed for sensitive ears, and don't take them out for three months. Every day, twist them around a lot in your ears and carefully apply rubbing alcohol so that it goess behind the earring into the hole. Eventually it will de-sensitise your ears, they are less likely to grow back and they will not get infected so easily.

Well..don't know exactly waht it means but it usually happens for a while after you got it done...if it's a new piercing, keep cleaning it and don't worry much, it should stop. If it's been like that for a while....just go see the Doctor in case it's infected. But till then keep cleaning with alcohol!!

In the beginning pus may come out of it because you're irritating the skin everytime you turn the earring, not to mention opening up the scab that your body formed to deal with the piercing.
However, sometimes pus does signal infection.
Just make sure it's not infected, be sure to clean with soap and water in the shower, in addition to applying alcohol.

it is infected. clean it with alcohol and peroxide several times a day. Also wear a real gold or surgical steel earring. Never wear fake ones, they cause infection.

it is infected. buy some saline and stop using alcohol. alcohol steralizes it but that is a bit harsh on the hole. use saline and when you wash use bottled water. it is less harsh on the injusry and let it chill till it heal up a bit.
