My aunt says I use sorry for everything and that I should use excuse me more than sorry the way I use it. Like if I bump into people or do something I say sorry she told me to use excuse me what's the difference?

i think if you say your sorry it's like your admitting you did it on purpose. but if you say excuse me, you sound like you really didn't mean to but your still sorry.

does that make sense. cause i kinda lost myself there.

They mean the same basically. Unless you say "excuse me" as in "move out of the way". But what i think your aunt is saying by saying "excuse me" is "parden me" or "my bad". I always say sorry if i bump into someone too so don't worry about it!

You say sorry for something bad you've done, and you apologize. You say excuse me example: to get outta my way, pardon me
