See this is what the liberal Democrats will do, and its what I've been saying all along, ever since this GARBAGE happened here in the TN senate race, where some idiot Democrat is losing and just because he is black they claim those who don't support him are racist, to scare bait everyone into supporting him out of fear of being labeled. When I wont buy it. I don't like Obama because he is a nobody, he is a media creation, he is a liberal, and he has no experience. Don't even try to play that crap race card because your scared of losing. This question is trash, TRASH and racist trash at that. How dare you accuse anyone who doesn't support Obama as a racist. Its sick!

Black Atheist...
First I don't consider myself a racist. I would think that since I was married to a minority lady should support my claim.

I think it would be great if Senator Obama would run for either office. Only by constantly challenging the status quo of the political and social biases will things change.

NOTE to Linus_van....
You claim that there are too many racists ( I assume you mean white racists as there are also black, hispanic and asian racists) in this country for Obama to be elected. Then explain to us how he was elected to the US Senate in Illinois? The racial make up of Illinois is
* white - 66%
* black - 15%
* hispanic - 14%
* asian - 5%

Since statistically the same percentage of white racists reside in every state how was Obama elected? If he runs and is not elected it will be because of reason other than white racism.

First of all I'm white and a liberal....
I strongly disagree with you in your steadfast belief that Hillary is assured the presidency. McCain is a very appealling cnadidate, especially to the mdoerates, and even in the liberal ranks, there is a strong distrust of women in general, and Hillary in particular (Some of her speeches have been as general and lifeless as one might expect from Bush). Plus, even if Obama becomes Senator (disregarding the fact that he is from Illinois and will have trouble in both of the costs, especially California), it doesn't matter. Obama may be black, but he's basically a white guy. The media will fawn over him and treat him as a very special president, but trust me, there is nothing separating him and Bush except skin color, political affiliation (and about 30 IQ points, advantage Obama). He'll be a new Bill, albeit one that might be seen courtside at an NBA game instead of an MLB one (but I doubt even that, he's too deep in academia and politics, where all his collleagues, pretty much, are white). I'm not a racist, not at all, but even if I was, I think I wouldn't care if Obama was prez (except maybe for a few qualms based on principles).

why do you talk approximately white racists? osama obama is racist. he makes use of his blackness to garner votes. he says he replaced into raised to be "colored blind" yet he makes use of his colour for politics. he says he's an african american whilst he's no longer. no longer interior the comparable experience that african human beings are descendants of slaves. his mom is white and his father replaced right into a kenyan interpreting as a miles off places student in hawaii and then went back. what has he achieved besides advise the killing of toddlers in overdue term abortions and supply a extremely good speech on the dnc? certainly no longer something. and dont point out his e book. it relatively is crammed with empty headed blathering. he's condescending; do you spot the way he seems down on us time-honored human beings as though he's a few form of god, extending his hand in benevolence? ignore it. he's no longer something extra effective than a con guy. i might, besides the shown fact that, vote for condie in a heartbeat

Yawn ~ yeah, that's what they said about Jesse Jackson too.

I really don't care what color the president's skin is, but it concerns me that other people think it's important that the president be black or female or whatever.
What ever happened to the idea that we elect the best possible person for the job?

Your question is more racist than those you are directing this question to.

What makes you think that Obama can't beat Hillary? Dems may well see him as being more electable. I don't know enough about him to decide yet, but since he's a Dem, I doubt if I'll vote for him.

It doesn't bother me, but it won't happen. The country as a whole won't accept a Black president any more than it will accept a woman. If he gets the nomination, I'll vote for him, but it probably won't happen.

Race is no deterining factor in who is good enough to run our country. As i've always said, a person's race/nationality doesn't matter, the person does. I would love it if he turned out to be a good president, but i would hate it if he turned out to be a bad president.

Sad part is our nation is in a war amongst itself. People are screaming at each other about this whole Iraq thing. I don't think the US can handle a black president with the way crap is working now. With all the finger pointing there would be too much hatred against him.
