Paint your nails whatever color you want. Black is cool. Whoever told you not to, paint theirs black while they sleep.

if u like dark colors maybe a dark red would be good, but if u like black then paint them black! they're your nails, hon

If it was between black or pink, I would say pink. Although i really like french manicures those look good too.

Bright red - it's Christmas time! Of course if you're Jewish, you could paint them blue for Hanuka!
