Jimmy did not kill Keith. Keiths brother did! Keith's brother snuck into the school and right after Keith tried talking Jimmy out of shooting himself and was unable to stop him. Keith ran to the body of Jimmy the kid and looked up and there stood his brother, Dan Scott. Dan took the gun that Jimmy had shot himself with, and shot Keith. Dan left the gun there and left without anyone ever knowing he was there. So everyone thought that Jimmy killed Keith and then shot himself!
Dan killed Keith because he thought he was the one that sent him the liquor to his office which made him pass out and then set it on fire. So Dan thought Keith had tried to kill him!

1)Keith is Dans brother, Lucas' practically dad (but really his uncle, he raised him) and Nathans Uncle 2)Dan killed keith and it's keith as a child. Dan killed him and Keith has like haunted him he calles him Danny not daddy 3)Because Dan has always been an *** and treated Deb and Nathan badly. So he looks back at his life and wonders if by choosing Deb he made the wrong decision and wonders what life would have been like with Karen 4)Jimmy was a kid who was bullied badly and he took a gun into school 1 day and shot himself just as keith was trying to help him.. I dont wanna spoil but but thats when Dan Striked. He sitn related to Nathan but friends with Mouth.. vaguely know Nathan xx LOVe on tree Hill! =] it gets better. many suprises in store

I honestly do not know why. It sure was a shock.
It kind of surprised me because I was under the impression that Dan did.
I loved tonight's episode!
To those of you who haven't seen tonight's episode. It reveals that Dan did NOT kill Keith. Keith said it was Jimmy. It's complicated but Keith distinctly said JIMMY killed him.

You must have missed episode 316 that's when it happened jimmy didnt kill keith everybody just thinks that jimmy killed himself then dan came in and killed keith cuz he thought that keith tried to kill him but later he finds out that deb tried to kill him

DAN was the one who killed Keith but everyone thinks that Jimmy killed Keith before shooting himself.

He didn't. Dan walked in the school as mayor and saw Keith huddled over Jimmy after he shot himself then Dan picked up the gun and shot Keith!!! It was HORRIBLE!!!!
