This Latino culture is the strong hold of the Catholic Church. Religion is very important, especially in the less developed areas.

Is very important and strong, because in this times still are people who can walk for days without shoes just to visit a certain Church or sanctuary of a saint in his day, just asking or thanking for a miracle. In some places represents the Crucifixion, but in real. I think in some cases influences people decisions,specially in little towns; but things are changing.
