That paranoia is a *&*^. I can relate. I've experienced mind trips and I didn't even need to inhale.
Oh yeah, just try to keep busy you'll get through it. Good luck.!
oops, I think I may have just gotten your question, it may not be paranoia, sorry, my mistake, but a philisophical a question about "the grand design" in relation to the "marix", is this right? If so, the answer is FREE WILL , brotha. In the matrix most people are just floating along being dragged with the flow, but in this reality we have a high cabability of changing our Fate for the better, It just takes a little effort. Or maybe a lot, depending on our humble beginnings and if we can beat the odds of the level of misfortune, ignorance and poverty that we were born into. But it seems the more humble our begginings, the challenge of overcoming them gives us such strength that we will far surpass those born with a silver spoon in their mouth. Go for it my friend, you CAN beat the matrix.!

" reality is that which exists outside of our beliefs ". So you believe in a matrix like reality? There is no evidence for such; it was a movie and so contrived. Come back to the real world. That you can even say as you said, presupposes reality. That is what language is. Come up with anti-real English, if you have a true antirealisic position to posit.

Its funny but "niceperson" isn't too far off. I believe this physical reality is just a matrix like shadow of things to come. The true or spiritual reality is timeless where Christ dwells at the right hand of God and we all get new bodies to cruise eternity with.

This reality is probably no different. When you really think about it, couldn't this just be the product of your mind's manifestation? For all you know, I might not even exist! Who knows, we could be trapped inside a computer program where we re-re-re-re-incarnate until the point of extinction on our race and then evolve to bigger and better races with sharp teeth and big eyeballs and giant flying saucers abducting people and morpheus.
The matrix took my mind away.

You have got to be kidding.. if you can't seperate Matrix special effects and what is, is what you see.. then you have been seeing to many imaginative movies.. Reality is what you see and what you can touch, smell and taste.. the rest is imagination.. there is no reality to it..

Very little. This world is called Maya or illusion. It is temporary and full of misery. We are not these bodies, we are spirit soul, Part and parcel of the Supreme Soul. Our situation is only due to our Karma and desire. It is based on our minds conception of reality. If on wants to get out of illusion and suffering and see things as they are and come to ones constitutional position, the quickest and easiest way is to chant the Maha Mantra (The Great Mantra for deliverance from suffering and illusion) Read Bhagavad Gita As it is By Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada for complete understanding. Tried and True process out of illusion.
