try rebooting your computer. if that doesnt work look for a website where you can download java for free.

i have same problem...spades has been down for 2 days. I also can enter other games. Maybe the programmers are working on the lag situation that has been problematic since the last "upgrade" keep trying and maybe the walls will come down soon.

If you do need to or want to try install or reinstall java, you can go to www.filehippo.com to do so. I found this better than downloading from the java.com website, although it is helpful to return to their site to verify you have the latest version.
