if i kick my dogs off the couch they will find someting to lay on. i just had one pull a sock out of the laundy pile that i was folding, put it on the floor and layed on it.

my bully HAS to lay right next to me when i am on the computer, he has his OWN corner of the couch, I have to put blankets on it just for him, if he sees me coming out of my bedroom, he runs and jumps on the couch with half his body hanging off thinking I was going to sit in my computer chair...he HAS to have a paw touching you at all times, that is a brad thing, they all do that.
and my little one has to have his little dog crate in my bedroom with his blankets and that is his sanctuary

That's funny. Mine prefer the couches & bed, but will are also content with the floor. Especially when they can lay smack dab in the middle of the most inconnvenient place possible and make everyone trip over them, hehe.

Ha! Ha! The sock thing is too funny. =) My dog thinks she is the queen of our house. She also thinks she's a lap dog (she weighs 55#'s). She likes the couches or my bed.

lol that's funny! My cats definitely prefer to be on something, but they will lie on the floor or the bare tabletop. If it's hot out, they like the tile floors better than the carpet, though.

My cats lay down wherever they want to. Floor, sofa...just about anywhere except kitchen table & counters. For some reason the laws of gravity & bigger means 'my' chair just don't seem to apply to them. Dang it.

Mine does...he's gotta be up in the bed with me or on my lap at all times! Thank God he's a Chihuahua and not a 70-lb beast like my dad's Labrador (who thinks he's a lapdog too)!

On ME; on the bed; on the kitchen counters; the very top of the bookshelves; in the sink; the couch; my fresh, clean, warm laundry; my dirty laundry; etc...

My cats are spoilt brats they can sleep wherever they choose. One of my cats insists on getting in the bed and cuddling up next to me. (I love that cat)
When I leave for work I leave a fan on in front of them so they don't get hot.

mine does! Mine will also pull dirty clothes out and lay on them if I kick her out of bed at night!
