I am black female, post grad degree & afro-caribbean. For me coming from another society -I honestly do not feel that a black person will ever be elected in America. Firtsly,The thruth is america is a racist country , in the time of plenty it rarely evident, but in the time of scarcity it is raring its ugly head. You know who feels blacks...less jobs etc.
Secondly, blacks are no longer the second largest group the latinos are . Do you honestly think they will vote for a black person?.... lol
Finally, whites smiles with us but they do not like us. Even though I am educated, at work people who barely pass high school think they know more than you & talk down. So thats the truth....face it

I think that just about sums up most white peoples view on Black people.
They generally like "black people", but "*******" p1ss us off.
As for having a black president, I honestly dont think anyone would give a sh1t as long as he's better than that dumb *** gwb...
