Wireless.
Sturdy.
Light rather than heavy.
Not cost the earth.

I currently own a Toshiba, which I found disappointing.

As I live in Ireland I could not avail of holiday deals in America.

I have just brought a new laptop it was a Parkard Bell from PC World and it's Processor is an Intel Centrino Duo it's also Vista Capable which is the main thing that you should be looking at because Microsoft are bring out a new operating system and all other processors will not be able to handle it

It has 1GB Memory
There are still selling them in PC world check it out it's only £499

I would prolly say any hp laptop this holiday becasue they are really giving out alot of good deals on laptops like the dv6000t is pretty nice for basically anything and dv2000 is really great to and the cost is around 700$ after tax.

amd x2 tl-50 processore(dual processor)
with 100 gb ,10024 mb ram
dvd burner
and only 12" screen
for around 700
next sunday at staples

I can't tell you much about it cus I don't know but when My parents bought mine they were told by the person that helped them install the net that Toshiba was the best brand that's all I could tell you about it.

personally i want a sager but for the power ... for light i would probably look at an ibm thinkpad ...
