I love the movie "The Wizard of Oz". I have watched that movie every year since i can remember. i'm 45 so i know i have seen it at least that many times. they show it a lot now. when i was a kid it only came on once a year. as a matter of fact it's coming on the 8th of dec. it's a wonderful movie for children. it teaches them compassion. and it says something that is just SOOOOOOO true "THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME." i love the way it starts out in black and white and then suddenly when dorothy gets to munchkin land there are all of these beautiful colors. i think they did an awesome job as far as special effects go. that movie was made in the 30's...i think....and i would love to have a pair of those ruby slippers !! yep !!! that's my favorite movie. i suppose it taught me that home is indeed where the heart is.
