My family own's their own business and I would like to purchase a laptop. The main use would be for keeping track of inventory. I do not need games or any other just for fun features. I know dell is what most people are going with but I'm sure there could be something better out there. I am willing to spend up to $1500.

I work for an Ambulance Co and we use Dell, both tower and laptop. Good price good product and good service. What I've found is we can order a Dell laptop with what we want and need, not what they want to sell. I will order again from them.

Best six in order:

Dell
IBM
Sony
Toshiba
HP/Compaq
Acer

Apple is also excellent but still a little buggy running Windows.
