Ok, so, this is really embrassing and shameful, so please don't judge! I masturbated with the handle of a butter knife and now I have some vaginal bleeding. Should I be worried?

no judgement here! am thinking most if not all women do something like that using something or other at some point. please try not to feel shame about it, ok? and next time, please don't use the handle of a butter knife again. ;) get creative, there's tons of other things you can use that are much safer.

now, the only time i'd be worried is in the amount of vaginal bleeding. if it's just a bit and then stops, no problem. if it's more than a bit of bleeding, like as in enough to cover a pad, then yeah, go see your doc or a gyn doc to make sure things are ok. sometimes we can scratch the insides a bit, and the doc may want you to have some temp meds for that so it doesn't get infected. but if it's a LOT of bleeding that just won't stop, then get thee hence to the emergency room now. ;)

first of all (not trying to be mean at all so please don't be offended) what the hell were you thinking when you put something sharp like that into your vaginal opening? you should definitely go to your gyno and tell her everything! i know it is embarassing but your well being is important. it's very important that you are completely honest with the doctor. you may have just scraped your lining or cervix which would not be serious but would cause bleeding. you are better off buying toys from an adult store next time. please don't do that again

Well girlfriend...it sounds like you may have torn yourself a bit. You should be fine and it should heal. There are other ways to gratify yourself other than items of torture. Try using a vibrator!
Back to the injury...if the bleeding does not stop in a day or two or if you get a discharge, pain or fever...I would see a doctor. Take care.

I would be worried.. and I would stop too. thinking of what my silverware is like, I don't see how I could get cut by the handle, but I guess if you have cheap, thin handles they could knick you somewhere. Besides, there are much better, safer, and more satisfying objects to masturbate with, like a dildo, for example. Yes you should be worried because your vagina wouldn't just start bleeding out of no where. You could have damaged your cervix even though you don't feel hurt. You should go to your local Planned Parenthood. If your under 18, don't worry because you don't need to bring your parent, every thing is confidential and they provide full health services for males and females.

More than likely you scratched your insides. If it doesn't stop within a few days or if the bleeding is really bad then you need to see a doctor. BTW.... a lot of women have tried different things. Your normal. Good luck

If it does not stop in couple days, go see a doctor. Most likely, you scratched yourself, and it's not dangerous, but it could get infected, so see a doctor if it does not stop.
Do not douche, you might make it worse by pushing bacteria inside, and invest couple $$ in a bona fide safe toy.
