I have a TI-83 plus...i want it to say I the a heart on the grapg then a name

have the calculator on...then...
on the top 5 skinny buttons(ones with Y=, WINDOW, ZOOM, TRACE, GRAPH), press GRAPH
press 2nd, PRGM (it says draw above that button)
go down the list till your reach : A: Pen , press enter when you've highlighted that
when you want to draw, press enter, to stop drawing and move from one spot to another press enter again
to clear the graph...press 2nd, PRGM, and highlight 1: ClrDraw , then press enter

why not just type it in using the letters
that's pretty complicated. I've done a four leaf clover. I didn't know you could do that.
