Sometimes you find someone who is so very compatible with you, who makes you laugh, who makes you so glad to be alive, who gets all your jokes, who has the same interests, everything; the soulmate, the perfect match, the missing piece that completes you.
Except he's straight and you're not.
Or, he's already married. (Whichever you like.)
I've had very strong feelings for a straight friend before, but I wasn't sure how he would take it, if he would get angry or embarrassed, or how stupid I would feel, or how it might affect the friendship negatively in ways I didn't anticipate. The last thing I wanted him to feel was uncomfortable or awkward around me, so I never said a word about it. I suffered in complete silence.
Seems people always want what they can't have.

never have, never will. and I don't know any gay/lesbian who has. no one can "turn" anyone gay (or turn them straight, either!). what would be the point of doing that? not that I have never been attracted to anyone straight, but I would never waste my time "hitting" on them. that's not as ridiculous as a straight person hitting on someone gay (of the opposite) and telling them if the "just tried it" they might like it. pointless and stupid!

My answer to this is to ask another question. Why is it so bad for a gay person to 'hit' on a straight person (intentionally or accidentally), but it's perfectly okay for a straight person to 'hit' on a gay person...for instance, all the men who tell us lesbians that we just haven't found the right man...usually them...gimme a break, if there was a right man, I wouldn't be gay.

Hmm. For anyone to try and seduce someone who isn't interested in them is unethical. I'm in a long term (26 year) relationship so we're sort of out of the loop. You must know someone this has happened to and beleive me that a lot of us older folk find that sort of behavior to be wrong. Blessings.

Yeah it happens in the same way straight folks get that way over someone that doesn't want them that way..It's human nature..People fall far people that aren't feeling the same way every single day.,,,haven't you....Sometimes people don't know how to stop their own hearts no matter what the barrier...It ain't just a sex thing....Love to ya Bigtime!

it takes a little time to figure out who is gay or not. so bear with me while i make mistakes in life much like you do . unless you proclaim not to make a single mistake ever in your life. cause if you never made a single mistake in your life than you would be more success full than anybody in the world. wow....you must be super intelligent!!!!!!!!

I know of a lot of straight people who knowingly pursue gay people hoping to "convert them" as they put it.
