my mom tells me i cant eat pork at night if i am on prescribed medication, because that could cause harm?

After living on the border for some time, it never ceases to amaze me the "myths" that come out of those well meaning abuelas (grandmothers), and how they can really mess with the younger generations minds. It is a myth.
How about this one. It is more sanitary to wash your dishes in cold water because hot water makes bacteria grow. That was the first one I ever heard of from a young friend, not the most bizarre, just the first.

Yes 4 sure not only at night but also all ur live --its soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad and distroy ur health --the result would come latter but u wont feel it now cuz u r young --plz 4 ur own sake forget it at all.Thank u. Regards.

I am Hispanic, and I live on the border, but I've never heard that one! There is definately no danger in eating pork.

Probably not, it depends on what the medication is though. You cant make a generalization just about prescription medication, they're all very different.

Thats just weird...ask her what shes talking about. If she stands by it then ask your dr to get her on meds.
