I believe I replied to a prior query of yours approximately the homosexual motion. That's like announcing it isn't discriminatory to have interracial marriages unlawful considering that neither a white man or woman nor a black man or woman can marry anybody of one other race. You have the correct to go into right into a authorized agreement known as civil marriage with the man or woman you're keen on. I do not need that correct. Therefore the legislation isn't treating us similarly. It is giving your courting targeted attention and targeted rights- tax rights, immigration rights, health center visitation, inheritance rights, adoption rights, coverage advantages- at the same time it does no longer supply mine the identical rights. My kids might not be similarly covered beneath the legislation, nor my accomplice, nor me. If she had been to fall unwell within the health center, I might no longer be competent to consult with her. I am no longer the following of kinfolk. I pays extra taxes considering that I am no longer allowed to dossier collectively. Even although we're within the identical courting as you, minus one technicality, I am no longer afforded the identical rights. You have the choice of marriage. I don't. And being homosexual is not more of a habits than being immediately, although the federal government rewards you for being so. Either method, the federal government does actually owe behaviors rights. It is a habits to be in a courting in any respect- immediately or homosexual. It is such a lot absolutely a option, a habits to signal a wedding agreement. It is a habits to train a faith. It is a habits to talk your brain. All those matters are covered by means of legislation.

you know if we would all get of our lazy asses and vote we wouldn't have issues like this. government should not take(tax) our money, they shouldn't be able to tell us how or where to live(unless we are dangerous to other humans). They shouldn't be able to tell who we can and can not marry We caused this mess and the problem is until we start voting and get these pigs out of office it will always be about somebodies rights The Governor of Illinois payed to install a heated drive way at the governor's mansion and he doesn t even live there 3 months out of the year He stays In Chicago

It has nothing to do with civil rights. Give me a break.
---------------------------------------
Yes. It does. Civil rights are defined as: "Personal rights guaranteed and protected by the Constitution, ie, freedom of speech, press, freedom from discrimination." THE CONSTITUTION GIVES EVERYONE EQUAL RIGHTS.
They can get married right now in a civil ceremony.
---------------------------------------
You say married...but its not a marriage, because as you say later, marriage is supposed to be between a man and a woman. So which is it? Marriage or not?
Its a non issue and shouldn't even matter.
------------------------------
Lol, cos you say so? Well, then it must be so! youre not gay, so shut up.
Anyone can leave anyone all their money, any one can have anyone come and visit them by signing approciate docs at the hospital. This all is so stupid. Marriage is by definition between a Man/Woman. Give it up, people need to just live there life and find a cause to really get some teeth into.
----------------------------------
they found a cause. You got some snotty attitude while saying you dont care. if this was such a non-issue, you wouldnt be talking about, being so fervant in denying fellow americans a fundamental right. To love and be married. Gay people getting married has no effect on your life. On your marrriage. Marriage is not a religious institution. Get THAT into your head!

Gay people have the same rights to get married?? Ha! That's rich! If that were true, then why do you people spend so much time trying to enshrine your "one man/one woman" crap in the Constitution?

I understand where you are going with this. To me, I disagree with a person being gay, but I treat them as any other person. So, if they wanna get married, let them. They aren't hurting anyone. However, this issue is continuely brought up because of the fact that America is suposedly or somewhat a bible belt country. We tend to God Bless everything. Which is fine, but if we go by the bible.... then marriage of gay people would go against what this country is built on. The situtation is very confusing.

Uh-huh. People get upset about stupid stuff.
******
It's stupid because people get upset about it when it's not any of their business. I don't care if they get married but other people get upset and make a big deal about it and say they shouldn't get married. I think that's stupid!

They have the same rights as us, they can marry a person of the opposite sex just like we can.
I think gays need to just stop whining and making a big deal abou this.
And it's not the same thing as letting people vote, because no one is saying they are less equal. We are all equal, because I can't marry a girl either (not that I want to).
